You can earn Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Medals during the Guardian Games event to to deposit for rewards. There are 2 Diamonds Cards available each week that grant the most progress towards the event. You can get Platinum medals from completing the competitive playlist with Platinum score.

Guardian Games is a competition between each class Warlock, Titan, and Hunter to see who can earn the most Medallions.

This happens every year with a celebration in the tower on the final week for the winning class. There is always new loot to be unlocked.
